PAYMENT: Friday, December 6th from 10am-5pm at the Hines Online Facility 107 County Rd C, Ellsworth, WI 54011.
All items must be removed by 9am central on Monday, December 9th. Units must be broom swept.
Payment made in full day of pickup. Bidders will be charged a 10% buyers fee and MN 8.125% Sales Tax (additional 4% courtesy fee on card transactions).
The contents of the units are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties expressed or implied. All sales are final, no returns or exchanges.
Tenants in default have the right to pay for the balance in full before their unit is auctioned.
All bidders are required to complete a sign-in form prior to being allowed to participate in the storage unit auction.
Payment is due at the conclusion of each auction at each location in CASH ONLY. No checks or credit cards will be accepted under any circumstances. No time will be allotted for securing funds from ATM machines. Payment must be made immediately upon conclusion of the auction of the last unit sold at that location and before removal of any merchandise from the premises.
Sales tax will be charged on each unit unless the successful bidder has a resale certificate and number furnished to Auctioneer at each auction.
Bidder may place their own lock on each unit won during storage unit auctions immediately following the award. Suchlock shall remain on the units until the time when the goods are allowed to be removed from the units as per above.
The storage facility is not responsible for the contents of any units once the sale has been finalized.
Winning bidders will be required to make a $200.00, cash only, refundable security deposit that will be held the storage facility until the unit purchased by the bidder during the storage unit auction are emptied, swept clean, and inspected by a storage facility representative.
Bidder agrees to return to the storage facility, in an adequate box, any personal papers, pictures, birth certificates, items with a social security number, etc., found among the goods purchased. These personal items will be held at the storage facility for the customer for whom the storage lien was enforced. If personal effects are not delivered to the storage facility, as requested above, bidder therefore acknowledges that there were no personal and thereby assumes full liability and agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the storage facility, its’ owners, officers, managers, employees and auctioneers against any claims made regarding the personal effects.
Bidder agrees to carefully inspect the goods purchased at storage unit auctions for illegal items, such as drugs, guns, etc., before leaving the facility. Bidder agrees that once all the goods are in the bidder’s possession, they assume full liability for possession of any illegal items.
Bidder agrees to remove ALL the items from each of the units won during the auction within 48 hours of the auction.
In the event that the goods have not been fully removed from the units and were not broom swept, bidder agrees that the storage facility may, in its sole discretion and without notice to bidder, dispose of any remaining contents left in or around the units and bidder may be charged a disposal fee. You may not use an onsite dumpster.
NO ONE under the age of eighteen (18) will be admitted to the auction under any circumstances.
The Auctioneer, at all times, reserves the right to: (A) Revoke the bidding privileges of any bidder, and/or; (B) Refuse a bid that is merely a fractional advance of the preceding bid, and/or; (C) Cancel the sale any time prior to having said “SOLD”.
Persons, while attending the auction, and/or during the removal of goods from the premises, assume all risk for personal and/or property damage. Therefore, neither the Auction Company nor it's Principal shall be liable by reason of a defect in or of the condition of the premises at which the auction is held.
Successful bidders immediately become the new owners of the contents of the unit they have purchased. As such, they are the only persons authorized facility access, and then only for the purpose of entering those specific units. Successful bidders MAY NOT resell the contents of a unit on site to a third party. The successful bidder is solely responsible for disposal of the contents of any and all units coming into their possession by way of the auction.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to make sure their bid(s) can be seen or heard by the Auctioneer.
Locations listed are possible locations for that day. All locations may or may not be on the auction list for that day. The order of the auction list is subject to change without any prior notice.
The Auctioneer reserves the right to voice record each auction for verification of the conduct of the sale, unit price, and any other necessary documentation.
Announcements made day of sale supersede any and all other announcements and information. Terms are subject to change without notice.
Persons attending the auctions agree to abide to the terms listed above and/ or any other terms that may apply at each auction. Failure to abide by such terms can result in those persons being removed from the auction and/ or any future auctions conducted by the Auctioneer, the facility, or any combination thereof. These terms are in effect for all storage auctions for this date and all future storage auctions until such time that these terms and conditions are revised.
